sybil profileSybil Kleinmichel has been a registered independent auditor with DQS in Frankfurt, Germany, since 2007. She founded the company Sycheck to meet customer requests for support in achieving external ISO certifications and to help clients build and optimize their quality, service and security management systems to achieve or maintain successful ISO certifications. Now Mrs. Kleinmichel has found a way to apply global management system best practices at the individual level. Currently she is in training as a certified life coach and has developed a standard for personal excellence helping executives and retirees to optimize life phases, health and wellness.

Mrs. Kleinmichel has lived and worked in Germany since 1991. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services, telecoms and software industries and has specialized in IT, information security and association management as a lead auditor certifying members according to association-specific quality standards.
 
Since 2015, she works part-time as Vice President Quality and Chief Information Security Officer at a software company in Mainz, where she led the company to successfully achieve one of the first DQS ISO 9001:2015 certifications within Germany and is now implementing an information management system.
 
Sycheck offers clients auditing and now during 2016, executive coaching services as part of her coach training curricula. This helps leaders to ensure succession, risk management, IT security and mentoring are controlled processes within their organizations or at home. Using her experience as a lead auditor in quality management, social accountability, service management, business continuity management, and information security her specialized process and IT security audits help improve overall sustainability in the long term. Implementing and auditing according to industry-specific or customized standards has helped executives and retirees to more precisely define, measure, share and improve best practices leading to sustainable business development and succession planning.

During years working at Accenture and within the German Telekom, company leadership gained valuable experience consulting and managing global quality and security audit programs, auditing data centers and developing new audit methodologies.
